The average home inspection will take between 2 to 4 hours to complete the inspection portion. I type the report as I go. This helps me to avoid missing crucial information in the report. I always welcome my clients to accompany me on their inspection. After all, it is your potential new home and I'm sure you want as much first hand information as you can get. I will never ask you to wait until the end of the inspection to come. I leave that in your hands to decide. I have clients that walk with me for the entire inspection, some show at the end, and some just stay home and wait for the reports.
The inspection can be paid via cash, check or charge. If you are out of town and won't be able to come to the inspection, I am able to email you an invoice that can be paid online and the inspection agreement forms can be returned by fax or email.
I also use an FMLS suprakey for access to the house if needed. The eliminates the need for someone to meet me at your house to let me in.
